GOLDEN JOYSTICK AWARDS 2010

So- the results are out; and they named Mass Effect 2 overall ultimate Game of the Year- Which is fair calls, considering PS3 didn't really have any fair contender RPGs.
Closest thing I can think of is God of War 3 obviously, or if you really want "Heavenly Rain". Yes, bla bla Mass Effect 2 is a system exclusive, but considering the completely polished effort plus depth of gameplay not to mention overall support with DLC ect, it stands tall above the competition.

So .. which game do you want to see GOTY 2010?

How is there a game of the year already? Black ops isnt out yet. Either is Asassins Creed Brotherhood.

Also mass effect 2 is going to the ps3 soon. I might get it on that.

I think its great the PS-only gamers get to experince the wonders of Mass Effect, but im a little bumbed that we are losing arguably our best exclusive. I dont want to be a prude or anything, but a lot of the PS3 gamers I know give me shit about my Xbox not having God of War or Uncharted (despite me also having a PS3?!), so when they're argument is thier great exclusives, its kind of annoying that ours are becoming 'less' exclusive.

even if mass effect 2 dont come out on the ps3 the ps3 has far better exclusives.

Xbox has far better online.
Its a win win if you have both ;]

Yer that's always the case ...I'll have to look it up - it may be financial year ( June-June) But I would very surprised if BLack Ops or Assassins Creed made it high on the lists this year.

Then Again Mass Effect was well early in the year. I would expect a lot of sites to be putting Red Dead Redemption up pretty high despite some issues.

I also personally want to start seeing arcade titles ranked separate to full AAA titles. There has been some increasingly excellent arcade titles
